Located on Irving Street in San Francisco, this project involved a complete upgrade of the electrical systems in a multi-unit building. We removed and replaced 8 outdated Federal Pacific Electric (FPE) Stab-Lok panels, known for their safety risks, with modern, compliant alternatives. Additionally, we replaced aluminum wiring throughout the building to meet current safety standards.
These upgrades were essential to meet the requirements set by insurance companies in San Francisco, which increasingly mandate the replacement of hazardous panels and outdated wiring. Our team managed every step, from safe removal of old components to installation of new, code-compliant systems. Throughout the project, we provided one-on-one guidance to building residents, ensuring clear communication and a smooth transition to the updated system.
